Hidden in the Mist

A taste of the darkness brings me to the light,
But sometimes it’s hard to separate day from night.
Alone in my thoughts, alone in my dreams,
It’s hard to know what reality is it seems.
Who is this person that lives in my soul?
Sometimes a stranger, I don’t even know.

I stand in the fog, hidden in the mist.
From this world, I am remiss.
Hidden away where others don’t see,
Wanting others to let me be.
Standing motionless, without a sound.
Don’t look for me, I can’t be found.
