It’s raining outside!
There’s something relaxing about the discourse of raindrops
As they hit my pane.
A smell of freshness fills the air
And the crisp colors of nature
Sheen with a new brilliance,
As if cleansed by the tear drops of God.
It’s raining outside!
My emotions are calm,
My thoughts silent.
I become immersed with this gentle act of nature,
One with its beauty and solitude.
My spirit cleansed as those of the flowers,
Given a new strength to carry on,
a new vitality for my soul.
It’s raining outside!
What does it do for you?
