Bridges of Life

A Selection of Poems

Bridges of Life

As I walk across the bridges of life,

It’s comforting to know you walk with me.

We cross span after span,

Venturing into new uncharted lands.

We see our yesterdays,

But can’t predict our tomorrows.

During our journey,

We cross brooks and streams

Filled with many pleasantries.

But also, there are oceans

Filled with storms and perils.

Oceans difficult to bridge,

And crossed with utmost trepidation.

It’s nice to walk the way with my friend,

My companion, my lover, my wife.
