Bridges of Life

A Selection of Poems

By James Bolgiano

Autumn's Song

The leaves have changed,

There’s frost and early morning dew.

The year is at its twilight,

Wmter is coming soon.

The breath of day is short

And the shroud of night so long.

Mesmeric sunsets and harvest moons

Bringing Autumn’s song.

Whispers of white splatter the air

Covering a canvas of blue.

Magical golds, oranges and browns

Brush every tree with a wonderful hue.

Behold, the seasons have changed,

It’s Fall, the other side of Spring.

Wonder what kind of magic

This mystical season will bring.
