Faces Two

Be careful of one with faces two,

She might be the end of you!

She smiles with one and with the other lies:

Half-truths, flattery and alibis.

Always undoing what she said,

Tells something different when she turns her head.

She wears a halo and a cross;

She’s the Christian you’re the lost.

Gossips and talks behind your back

About the virtues you do lack.

The smile is false and it does hide

That much darker evil side.

Pharisees would be so proud

To have her in their crowd.

Her prayer box big and all so jeweled,

With elegance it was tooled.

She’s religious, she’s not sinned,

You ‘ll hear that again and again.

How dare you confront her tales;

You misunderstood you did fail.

Be careful of the one with faces two,

She might be the end of you!
