Bridges of Life

A Selection of Poems

By James Bolgiano

Sun and Stars

The sun and stars look down

Upon their playground,

Leaving gifts left unopened.

Their beneficiaries too busy

And lives too cluttered

To even notice:

Fragrant flowers,

The beauty of sunsets,

Or birds singing songs to the sunrise.

Senses are turned elsewhere,

And hearts are out of tune,

To the music that surrounds them.
